For the second part of our big trip, we took another airplane trip.

Got a rental car - cool.
Had good raspberries and fun music at a Farmer's Market.
Visited with old friends. Hey Nicky, sorry we missed you dude, but your planes are awesome.
Chilled out.
Went to the zoo.
Enjoyed lunch with friends.
Heard some memorable poo stories. Oh man!
Met the neighbors.
Made new friends.
Saw some art.

Played in the sand and swam in the water of a mountain lake.
Viewed a non-seasonal waterfall.
Took in some vistas.
Went on a hike.
Got some hugs.
Swam in the ocean - first time. (No sharks)
Took a boat ride.
Went home.

Catching Up - Turning 1!!

Having a birthday is a big deal, especially your first birthday, and I think your fifth birthday, too - from what I've seen. For my big day, we first took a trip to a famous landmark. Little Pomp's tower! Clark signed it just 205 years and 2 days before we got there. Mom and Dad were pretty excited. The moskweetoes were almost as bad as when the corps had gone through, but we had repellant. I wonder how old I have to be for them to let me pick what we do on my day.

It got better from there. A little nap in the car, and then singing, cake, and presents. Oh yeah! There were kind of a lot of presents, but lucky for me. I had assistance from someone who really knows what he's doing.
I got lots of fun toys and even some books. I really like toys and books. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with wearing a hat, if you can look cool and make everyone else happy at the same time.

Catching Up - The Big Trip I

This summer we took a big trip. We started with two airplane rides. It was Frankie's first airplane trip and he only screamed a little. I played Pokemon for the whole trip. It was so great.












We took a trip to see a dinosaur museum. This is me and my Uncle Kevin running from some scary dinos (in background).

We took a trip to the local zoo . . .
but the best trip I made was with my gramma to a shop called Wal*mart. I think I was supposed to pick out a present for Frankie's birthday or something. Gramma is so much nicer than Mom when we go shopping. I don't know why we didn't take any pictures of that place.

I also enjoyed some great mentoring from my uncles, who are both big video-gamers. I learned about iPods and iPads and got to play Angry Birds.

I also got to meet my cousin. She was pretty nice, for a baby. At least she didn't want a turn on the iPad.
