Christmas!

Well, this year, we got the Christmas season started off with a chocolate bear. Then there was a basket of pretty chocolates, and a box of chocolates . . . all while presents (for me) arrived in boxes on our porch. I learned how to sing Jingle Bells and Santa Clause is Coming to Town. I learned some reindeer names and about Frosty the Snowman and ate a LOT of cookies. It's a good time of year . . . but it takes SOOOO LONG for Christmas itself to arrive. I don't know how many times I had to ask my mom if it "was still not Christmas" or if maybe it would be Christmas when I woke up. Finally the morning arrived. Santa brought me a scooter! Check out my full stocking. No coal. I got lots of great presents including this awesome brachiosaurus. He's the biggest. But then . . . before I knew it, I'd opened the last present. Oh no. How could it be over so fast? Maybe it will be Christmas again next week? Or pretty soon? How many more days?

Pizza party!

I had my good friends, Greg and Murray Wiggle, over for a pizza party. The craziest thing? These guys actually eat pizza! Wow.

Helping Dad

We have a lot of trees around our house and only ONE big rake. If it wasn't for me and my little rake, Dad would have had to do all the raking by himself. Luckily, I was there to help out.

Riding my bike

Check it out. T-shirts in November. Do you think I look like Lightning McQueen? We had some great weekends last month and went biking almost every weekend. Good thing I'm a good biker. Check me out on my 2-wheeler. I can even coast if I get a little downhill.
One weekend we lucked out and there were train rides going on by the trail we biked. I even got to sit in the engine!

Trick 'r Treating

My first idea for a Halloween costume was a "spoooooky giraffe". Don't you think giraffes are spooky? What about a serenading giraffe? That might be spooky. But that costume didn't fit very well so my mom got me a different costume - a DINOSAUR. It was soooo cool. I could wear my costume and go "roar!" and I got lots of candy. Here's me out with some buddies. That's Nemo and two of the Wiggles. It's hard to tell who they are because they're wearing jackets.
And here's my haul. Pretty good for a night's work.
And here's my pumpkin. The concept was all mine, but Mom helped with actually cutting out the scary bat.

Heading back to the future

Check out what Daddy spotted on an outing a few weekends ago! I don't know what it is - I mean it's a car - but Daddy was pretty darn excited about it, so I think it was a pretty cool car. Maybe he'll get me one for my next birthday.

Walking on my hands

Or more specifically, I was running on my hands, but that's mostly Dad's fault. It happened like this - it was bed time and so instead of going upstairs for stories, I asked Mom to put socks and shoes on MY HANDS. Of course she did, but then she suggested that I go show Daddy. Daddy was not satisfied with my ability to just walk on my hands (in shoes and socks) and asked if I could RUN. So I tried, and then the next thing I knew I had fallen straight onto my face on the floor. Don't worry, I didn't let either of them touch my mouth and I refused all attempts to make it better - icecubes? And, it got better pretty fast, too.

Wearing Lightning McQueen underwear

That's right. I'm three years old! I'm a big boy and I can use the potty. Most of the time I use my little red potty with a bear on it, but if we're out and about, I'll use a regular potty, too.
I am particularly good at pooping. It's much more interesting to poop in a potty than in a diaper. For example, my very first poop in the potty looked "like a rainbow", except that it was brown. And just yesterday my poop looked like a "mean hippo" sitting in my potty.
I also have Buzz Lightyear underwear, Nemo, Mater, Mr. Incredible and Thomas underwear.

Feeding the fish

The big garden around here has some really big fish that you can feed if you buy little fish food pellets from the machine by the bridge. It's SO fun. Those fish are hungry!

There are also some pretend raccoons at the garden. I gave them each a nice hug.

Yeah. Hugs are nice.

Picking Pumpkins

Before my Gramma Cookie and Grandpa Mike went back home, we went out to the farm to pick some pumpkins. There were a LOT. But first, we picked some apples. We got pulled out to the apple trees by a real tractor. The apples were so tasty, I even ATE one.

Turning 3!

Birthday are the best - even if they're not mine because I LOVE CAKE! I took cupcakes to school, had cupcakes on the night before my birthday, and took cupcakes to the neighborhood block party that was the evening of my birthday. And I had TWO grammas and a grandpa visiting, too! Altogether, it was a pretty exciting weekend.
We made the cupcakes for school and I helped put the candy corn on - except for the ones that had HOLES in them - I ate those because they weren't nice enough for the cupcakes.
I got lots of fun presents and I even got to go ride on a train pulled by THE REAL Thomas the Tank Engine. OMG! It was so exciting.

I also rode on a smaller train while waiting to be pulled by the Number 1 Engine, but I declined the tattoo, bouncy houses, sing-a-long, and photo op with Sir Topham Hatt.

Going to 'Tana

Is it fall already? I didn't get to tell you about my big summer trip yet. We went to 'Tana to see Gramma Molly and some aunts and uncles and cousins.
Gramma has some really fun toys at her house, so I had a pretty good time there.

Check out this cool track for my cars.
Gramma took me to ride the carousel and bought be ICECREAM, too.

She taught me how to drive race cars in MarioCart. Hopefully Mom will let me do some more practicing on our car at home so I can maintain my skills.

And I took a hike with my Uncle Will and Aunt Liddi. I hiked up almost all by myself, with just a little help from Uncle Will.

But then the thunder started, so we had to head back home.

We got all dressed up and ate cookies at the church. Then, on the way home, we practiced funny faces at the airport.
