Preparing my armies

Stanley's post:
I enjoy whatever forms of cartoon violence my parents will allow me to watch - Spiderman, Dino Squad, Land Before Time, Pokemon. I know that life is full of battles. That's why I am getting ready.
Here you see a highly-trained, mixed battalion of animals and dinos. These are some of my elite fighters, expertly positioned in a pyramid arrangement.
Training gets a little more difficult when you add more members into your squad- - some less experienced than others. Come on Pooh Bear! Get with the program!

In some situations, living creatures may not be sufficient. That's why I'm also working with my cars and other vehicles.

Welcoming our baby

Our baby came home a few weeks ago. It was very exciting. We finally got to start using all the stuff that Mom had pulled out.
I know our baby's name is Robert Franklin. I asked my mom why they called me Stanley and she said that they just thought it was a nice name for me. I have to agree and really, I don't think my baby brother should have any less. That's why I'm going to call him Stanley. I know, I know. What about Christmas? Or boxes in the mail? To all who are reading, packages and boxes that are for our new baby should be addressed to "Stanley's brother, Stanley", unless they're for me and then you can just put "Stanley" on them. You can also use, Robert or Frankie for our new baby, but to reduce confusion, I suggest "Stanley's brother, Stanley".
I like our baby. He's so cute. And babies are like friends. That's why I want to have 10 or 7 or something like that. You do have to try and be quiet when babies are trying to fall asleep, but that's not hard for me to do. I can be quiet.
Babies sleep a lot.
But sometimes they're awake. Then you have to work extra hard to get people to look at you. It's not hard for me, though. I know what to do.

Visiting our NEW baby

We were finally done waiting, so Mom and Dad went to the hospital and then next thing I knew, Gramma said that the baby was here and we could go visit in the morning!
See how big Mama's tummy was? It's a lot of work carrying a baby around all the time.
At the hospital, first we got to go to the gift shop where I got a stuffed red dragon. It has hard eyes though, so it was for me, not the baby. Then . . . we went to see my baby brother. I was very excited and way trying very hard to be quiet. First, I looked at the baby - so cute! Then, I opened my presents. Having a baby brother is great! Besides my dragon, I got a new triceratops AND an etch-a-sketch. And I got to eat oreos and drink juice. I hope we have lots of babies.
See my t-shirt? That's so the baby knows who I am. I just hope he doesn't get confused when I wear my Spiderman shirt.

Waiting and waiting

Our baby took longer to get here than we thought he would. In the extra days that we were waiting, no fewer than TWO box turtles walked past our house. One on the driveway (dangerous) and the other in our front yard. Check it out!
Where were they going?
Even turtles are faster than our baby.
If our photo resolution was good enough, you might be able to tell how old this turtle is, see?
