Getting, thanks!

Stanley's post:
I love Christmas. Do you wish that Christmas was already here? I do. I love getting presents. And I love giving presents, too. Do you know what I got for my dad? Sonic Colors - for Wii. He LOVES it. We play it all the time and if he's at work, I can play it too. I can't wait 'til it's his birthday. Also, I helped my dad pick out a DVD player for my mom because she loves being able to play Wiggles and Pokemon for us.
But, I know that Christmas isn't all about presents. I would like Christmas even if there weren't presents because of all the cookies and chocolate and because Mom cancels the "video-free" days when it's Christmas vacation.
Luckily, there ARE presents for Christmas and I got some super fun presents - not a LOT or anything - just some. What I really wish is that we could start opening presents on Christmas morning and then, I wouldn't be finished opening my presents until the NEXT morning. That would be "enough". And we could just put in some more cabinets to hold them all, in case you're planning to ask that oh-so-predictable question.
On Christmas Eve, we had pizza and watched a movie - The Grinch. I like it better when we have sushi for Christmas Eve, but pizza is a close second. We all like pizza.
Then, we hung up our stockings and got to bed in order to give Santa enough time to bring in all our stuff.

It worked. My stocking was stuffed and there were presents under the tree when I woke up. What a great day.

Giving thanks

Stanley's post:
What am I thankful for? This was a question posed to me at school. I am thankful for toys. After all, right after Thanksgiving, comes Christmas.

Gramma Molly came to visit us for Thanksgiving and we had such a good time.
We went to Sabrina's house where I learned how to play Yahtzee. I'm so good at that game.

We also went to Danny's house and saw some real dinosaur bones! Woh!

And then, I took my Gramma to her most favorite place - Monkey Joes. She loves to walk around on the carpet while I bounce. And she also likes to get ice creams for me and play air hockey.

Walking and talking

Frankie's post:
Ok, so talking was easy - "bye bye", "kitty", "biaper", "go get", "bakugan", "Ha'weels", "Scooby Doo froot chooies. sure. ok!" and so on. It's also very necessary because it's how you get what you want, though high-pitched screams have their place too, I'm finding.
It helps that my family is providing the most advanced language aids as well. See - click here.

Walking . . . . well, I found crawling to be a pretty satisfactory way to get around and much less risky. However, as I approached and passed my 15 month mark, I felt there was increasing pressure for me to stand up and go. I was even threatened with not going trick-or-treating if I couldn't walk to the door. I still didn't think it was a good idea, but one day I accidentally let go of the person I was hanging onto. I didn't fall down and even got in a few steps. Ta da! Walking. Or "running" if you're going fast. It's pretty awesome, especially because my shoes squeak.
Click here to see how I was doing on Day 1.

Now, I'm so good at walking I can even go on hikes - on trails, And even in caves!

Riding a Bike

Frankie's Post:
Some people say you must walk before you can ride a bike - or run, or something. But I don't think so. I share my bike with Mom and Stanley shares with Daddy. Except when he's on his Thomas bike. He rides that all by himself.Or click here for the movie!
If I need to go somewhere by myself, I just drive my car.
