Train Ride

Here's me on the train back home from Canada - before I threw up. I don't know why I'm smiling - I spent the rest of the trip sleeping or crying - I guess smiling is just what I do when Mom brings out the camera. I wasn't really feeling that great for the trip. Hey, here's a tip for other people that want to ride the train: If you want a little extra space for your trip, just start crying when you go to get your seat assignment. Works great!

Visiting Lisa and George

Lisa and George live in a town that has the BEST WATER of any place in the WHOLE WORLD, as judged by expert water tasters. I had lots of fun hanging out with these guys. They had a cool house with lots of good windows and a nice dog to pet.

International Travel/Staying Up Late!

I took a trip this weekend with my parents to CANADA! It was my first trip outside the country. We crossed the border and everything. We went to visit my godparents, Lisa and George and they just moved to a new house that you have to take a ferry boat to get to. We were too late for the 7:30pm ferry, so we had to wait for the later one. While we waited, we went to a restaurant to eat dinner and they had TWO TVs to watch. It was so great. By the time we got the 9:30 ferry I was having so much fun. I had never been up so late and I was WIRED! I just laughed and wiggled all the way. Check out the pictures of me on the ferryboat - can you believe that just 20 minutes later I was out for the night? I gotta stay up late more often.

Petting the cat

My cat, Awilo, loves pets.
And I love him.

He is just so neat. And so soft and furry.

Come here kitty, kitty! Nice kitty!

Eating from a spoon!

I've been carefully observing the process of taking food from a plate and placing it in one's mouth for a while now. So, when dad approached me with a spoonful of rice cereal, I knew what to do. Open mouth, wait for spoon, close mouth, smile. It was so easy! Check it out, I'm a natural. Maybe next time I'll get to hold the spoon. Click here to watch me EAT!

Watching the laundry

My mom and dad won't let me watch TV and most of what's on the computer, is really not that interesting. So, for colorful, moving entertainment, I'm left with the clothes dryer. Not AS mesmerizing as the television, but still pretty good.

Eating my socks

I understand from talking to some of my peers that babies are generally very interested in their feet and toes. Personally, I don't find them very interesting, unless they have socks. MMmmmmm yummy socks!

Push-ups

OK! Let's do push-ups, READY . . . BEGIN.

Down, one!

Down, three!

Down, four! Ok! I think that's enough for today.

Rolling Over

I did my first back to tummy roll last week and I've been working really hard on it since then. I'm getting pretty good at it - as long as I only need to go to my right.

Funny Faces Part 2

More grandparents!

In Reno, I visited my Grandpa and Grammy and my Great-grandma. It was SO FUN. I like people who smile at me.

First airplane ride

I took my first airplane trip last weekend. My mom and dad and I went to Reno to visit some grandparents. Wow! Airplanes are even better than the bus. Check out my pilot's wings.

Airplanes are like nap machines. Steady background noise, a warm lap. I even out-napped Dad.

Here's me and Mom trying our luck at the slots in the airport. I think it'll be more fun when I can push the buttons.

Chewing on stuff

Hey, you got a knuckle you aren't using right now? I just can't find enough stuff to chew on, and knuckles are my favorite. Chewing really gets the drool going, too, which you can see soaking my green shirt.
