California Part 5

Our last leg took us back into San Francisco to visit with some Montana gals and see the Exploratorium.
After a lot of rain and snow, the sky was finally clearing while we explored the museum and gardens.

We had lot of fun in the Exploratorium, watching big bubbles being made, banging on xylophones and wearing funny headphones.

We also got psyched up for our upcoming move.

After a fun day, we said goodbye and went to meet my great-great uncle and great-great aunt. They were at least that terrific - maybe even great-great-great. Their house had some great-great stairs and they had this nice-nice cat and I had a lot of fun.

The next morning it was time to go to the airport and head home.

California Part 4

San Fran - Tahoe - Reno and . . . . back to San Fransisco!

On our way back to San Francisco, we stopped by to visit some cousins.
Here's me with my second cousin or first cousin once removed or twice or something like that. His name is Brandon and he is a cool guy. We had lots of fun hanging out.

And here's us with all the grown-ups, too.

We stopped by to visit some more friends and they had a little baby. She was pretty cute, but I'm glad we didn't take her with us. Two parents worth of attention is just barely enough to cover my needs.

A 3:1 ratio or better is nice, too, when it's a available.

California Part 3

First San Francisco, then Tahoe - next Reno! The biggest little city in somewhere . . . well actually we just went to Verdi, but that's very close to Reno. My Grandpa and Grammy live there.

While we were there we got to go see the new Cabela's store. Dad wouldn't get me my own gun yet, but we did see some neat stuff. Like this giant elephant tusk from Tanzania. And this woodchuck target - cool.

I visited with my great-grandma and showed her how to run laps in the kitchen.

And of course, I had fun with my Grandpa and Grammy.

Oh, yeah - and I cleaned out my dad's wallet for him while we were there. I don't think he even thanked me for that . . .

California Part 2

This is a continuation of California trip - last installment was San Francisco and now we're on to Tahoe! - To see my Grandma and Grandpa.

They have 4 dogs and a cat. I had a great time getting licked and feeding treats to the dogs.

I showed off some of my dancing skills. My grandma's not bad either. Click here to watch our moves.

On my mom's birthday we went out to sushi. I ate edamame, rice, soy sauce and melted green tea ice cream - pretty much everything but the fish.

Afterwards we went home and had cake and ice cream and I ate that, too. It was really really good. I like chocolate cake.

Touring California 1

Hi Everybody,
I took a trip to California with my parents at the end of January to early February and we had a great time. Our first stop was San Fransisco. We visited with my Aunt Jeanie and Uncle Mark and cousins Derrick and Megan. I learned about Wii and played with their kitten.
We also took a trip into the city to visit with some of Dad's friends from when he was in high school. So fun! We played at a flooded playground and shared chew toys with the dog. I stayed up sooooooooo late, but don't worry I took a nap first. We went out to dinner and beforehand I made my first trip to a real bar, a very solemn occasion.

Celebrating in Montana

At the beginning of January, we took a trip to Montana for three celebrations. Within a few days we celebrated my Great-grandma's 95th birthday, my gramma and grampa's 40th wedding anniversary and my Aunt Liddi's and Uncle Mike's wedding.

Here's me at great-grandma's party. What a great idea to have stairs at a party so there's something for people to do!

This is me with my Gramma before the wedding. The wedding turned out to be a lot of blah blah that I wasn't allowed to contribute to, so my dad and I hung out in the hallway checking out the acoustics of the Town Hall. Afterwards, we had a party at a place with a juke box. Cool.

It was pretty exhausting seeing as I am the primary entertainment for all events. I had to do some fast thinking at some times. Click here to see one of my more brilliant performances as I demonstrated my shape sorting talents.

I also got to take couple trips to the carousel which was pretty fun.

Enjoying Winter Break

I had a week off of school between Christmas and New Years and I spent it hanging out with Dad and Mom. We played at the park, read books, got dressed up and did our hair.

Dad must think I'm the dolly he never had as a child.

When it was too cold to play outside, I worked on my indoor equipment including this awesome step stool.

I also did a little extra studying to keep up with my school work. Here's me with my tutor, Julia, working on a little Economics.
